Emory and Abbey’s elegant River Oaks Garden Club wedding in Houston was stunning. This wedding venue just happens to be one of my favorite venues in Houston. It gives European garden party vibes, and makes for the perfect backdrop for a Houston wedding celebration. I shot quite a bit of film during this wedding, and love how it all turned out, especially the reception shots. Florals were a huge part of Emory and Abbey’s River Oaks Garden Club wedding in Houston! They chose the perfect color palette for a spring wedding, and their florals added so much color to their day. Dana’s Touch did an outstanding job on their florals, per usual. I also really loved Abbey’s bridesmaids and their mismatched floral dresses - perfect for a spring wedding!
The ceremony space at River Oaks Garden Club was perfect. In addition to the colorful florals, the outdoor area is surrounded by greenery which adds so much to the space, as well as overhead market lights.
The reception was no different in terms of being the perfect setup. They had long reception tables adorned with spring florals, market lights overhead, and the black and white checkered dance floor adds the perfect touch to the space! Overall this was such a beautiful spring River Oaks Garden Club wedding in Houston, and it couldn’t have been more beautiful.
