5.) Hotel Ella

The rich history behind Hotel Ella is reason enough to get married at this beautiful estate. In short, the hotel was a gift to Ella Newsome from her new husband, Goodall H. Wooten. Ella was a true renaissance woman, clearly ahead of her time as one of the first women to graduate from UT (among many other accomplishments). In 1910, she renovated her wedding gift, and it became one of the most elegant and unique spaces in Texas. Fast forward to 2013, the now boutique hotel underwent significant construction to further transform it into the venue we see today. The property has two parts: the original mansion with nine large rooms and the 1980s addition of the North Wing with 38 rooms. Both indoor and outdoor options are designed for couples who want an elevated, historic feel to their big day. Come see Hannah and Archie’s “Elegant Austin Texas Wedding at Hotel Ella” to get a taste of what a Hotel Ella wedding is like!

6.) Mattie's at Green Pastures

For couples wanting a farmhouse wedding venue in Austin, Texas, look no further! Mattie’s at Green Pastures is located in South Austin, with a legacy dating all the way back to 1983. The property has been modernized since then, but the original style and charm have stayed the same. The farmhouse is now the restaurant Green Pastures and is suited for all types of lavish celebrations. You can have around 160 guests for your event (with a little wiggle room) hosted in the 2,300 square foot Marion Hall. Of course, Mattie's will exclusively cater for your event.
