A Fusion Atlanta Wedding at Foxhall Resort
Claire and Yaamer’s fusion Atlanta wedding at Foxhall Resort was absolutely beautiful and one that I won’t ever forget. If you’re unfamiliar with what a “fusion wedding” is, it’s where two cultures blend together for a wedding. There are often times two ceremonies, and during the weddings they take traditions from each culture and blend them. It really is such a beautiful practice for two people who come from different cultures to get married. The theme for Claire and Yaamer’s wedding was British countryside garden party. Not only did Claire and Yaamer do more a a traditional American wedding ceremony, but they also had a Nikkah, which is a a Muslim wedding ceremony for couples to be legally wed under Islamic law. Both were beautiful, and I loved seeing everything come together, and two families becoming one.

Something that I loved about this fusion Atlanta wedding is that Claire and Yaamer didn’t just pick and choose traditions for the sake of tradition. They chose traditions that also made sense for them as a couple. I find this to be so important because your wedding day is supposed to represent you and your partner, and there’s no better way to do that then to choose traditions that make sense for the both of you. Their venue of choice was perfect as it really added that countryside feel, and their décor and florals were stunning and really gave off the British garden party feel. The views were beautiful as you can see for acres and acres while surrounded by pine trees. I loved the traditional dances that were done during their reception as well.
