An Intimate Fall Chateau Hiddenwood wedding
Shelby and Lucas’ Chateau Hiddenwood wedding in the woods of Waxahachie, Texas was the perfect example of the perfect intimate micro wedding. While a micro wedding or intimate wedding is perfect for any couple looking for a private celebration, its especially so for a public couple in the limelight. The two first met while on set for Disney Channels Liv & Maddie. Shelby and Lucas wanted to keep their wedding only to their very close inner circle. There were only around 40 people in attendance. Their wedding day was actually featured in PEOPLE. You can check out the article here! Lucas is originally from Texas, and this was his way of “bringing Shelby home to Texas”.
Shelby & Lucas’s Intimate Fall Chateau Hiddenwood Wedding
Shelby wore the most stunning satin Jenny Yoo dress and Lucas wore a green suit - perfect for an outdoor forest wedding. Their ceremony space was beautiful. They exchanged such heartfelt vows on a deck that overlooked the properties pond. Something beautiful about their wedding day that I loved was the vintage touches and personal family heirlooms that they incorporated. Their cake topper was from Shelby’s grandparents 1951 wedding! They also had the most intimate chef prepared dinner of meatballs and lasagna. Everything about Lucas and Shelby’s wedding was perfect, and it was such an honor to be a part of their special day.
